What I'm Loving Wedneday!

I'm loving that I received Season 5 of Friday Night Lights in the mail and I don't have to wait until it comes on TV to see the ending!

I'm loving that I had the chance to surprise someone with a "happy" this week.  "happy" definition - a fun surprise you didn't see coming

I'm loving that I am headed to Publix tonight to shop and coupon!

I'm loving my small town and how they have pulled together in prayer and support for a little boy who had a terrible accident last week that resulted in  a brain injury. (see the picture below of the marquee on our town theatre)

I'm loving that Sunday is Easter, a true celebration of Jesus' life and resurrection.

I'm loving the family time that comes along with Easter.

What are you loving this Wednesday?  Head on over to This Kind of Love and play along!

Top Two Tuesday

Top 2 Things You Collect
It's time for the Top 2 Tuesday hop.  Head on over the The Undomestic Momma and link up!

1.  Cows
- I'm a farmer's daughter, and a cow lover.  I grew up bottle feeding calves and wanting to be a vet.  Today, they are all over my house.  My favorite is a painting of a cow face with a halo over it, so cute!

2.  Blue Stuff - My kitchen cabinets are turquoise and I love random blue dishes or salt and pepper shakers or glasses or anything else that goes with them!

I wonder...

What it was cost to have a hot tub installed in my house???  After my run yesterday, my achilles/calf connector muscle was broken.  It hurt something fierce and made me a little whiny.  Well after a nice walk/talk session last night, my incredibly smart running friend suggested we put are legs in the hot tub... Amazing.  I'm nealyr healed today and ready for another run!
The running has its ups and downs, but the past few have been ups.  Just like the rest of my workouts, I do so much better in a group, whether it is two of us or thirty of us.  I need that push to keep up, keep going, beat the next person.

Summer Reading List

Sorry I've slacked lately, but I'm back today, and hopped over to Kelly's Korner to check out everyone's reading suggestions.  I'm the world's worst at starting books and not finishing.  So I'll start with the list of books I've half read and then add the ones I'm thinking about.

First, I saw on another friend's blog, she was reading Forgotten God.  I purchased it from my most favorite website, Amazon, and started reading.  It's quite thought provoking, discussing the role of the Holy Spirit in our lives and churches, and I've enjoyed the read.

Another book I'm in the middle of is Becoming More Than a Good Bible Study GirlIt's great, lots of good suggestions on how to make more of your quiet times.

My current comic relief and something to keep me occupied now that football and basketball are over is God and Football.  Hilarious, really, I've laid on my couch and laughed out loud!!  Makes a great guy gift, too.

Now on to two that have been suggested for me.  I don't read too much fiction, but I do usually enjoy it if I ever pick it up.  First, The Help.  I've heard mixed reviews, but want to check it out.

And second, American Wife.  I've also read mixed reviews on it, but I'll probably see what I think.

And while we are at it, one more that I thinks look interesting that I may purchase now that I'm doing a little running, and am hoping to Run Your Butt Off

Kelly's Korner is loaded with great suggestions today, check them out!!
